Vendor/Exhibitor Information
Food Day is a national event to celebrate and educate people about good food, how to get it, how to grow it and how to get more of it in your life. At our Food Day LA event, we will be celebrating with food, garden demonstrations, farm tours, arts & crafts in the kidzone and so much more. We will be offering you great food to eat, answering your gardening questions, and providing you with ideas and materials to start growing your own.
Date: Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location: John R. Wooden High School/Blythe Elementary at 18741 Elkwood Street, Reseda, CA 91335
Expected Attendance: 500 – 1000+ people
We can provide a table and chairs, but cannot provide a canopy.
To Become an Approved Vendor/Exhibitor
Because this event is being held on LAUSD property, we need to provide the following paperwork before any vendor can be approved to participate.
For all vendors: A certificate of insurance for each vendor/organization is required. Make sure it shows the required general liability, auto and workers' comp insurance. The certificate holder and additional insured endorsement should be listed as follows:

Insurance Requirements are Listed Below:
COMMERCIAL GENERAL LIABILITY
- General Aggregate Limit: $2,000,000
- Products & Completed Operations: $2,000,000
- Personal & Advertising Injury: $1,000,000
- Each Occurrence Limit: $1,000,000
- Fire Damage (Any One Fire): $100,000
- Medical Payments (Any One Person): $10,000
Vendors Without Insurance: If you do not have liability insurance, event insurance can be purchased through LAUSD for approximately $40 - $50. The application can be found here.
Vendors Providing Food: For vendors who are providing food for sale will also need to provide a copy of their business license and safe serve food handlers permit along with their certificate of insurance.
