Vegan

Vegan was found as a stray and brought to an animal shelter. Sadly, most animal shelters are not equipped to deal with large animals and they sent her to be auctioned off. But Vegan was one of the lucky ones to be chosen by a wonderful cow rescuer who saved her and sent her to be fostered. When we were ready to bring some cows into Kindred Spirits Care Farm, she knew Vegan would fit right in. Now Vegan will only know love and respect. She is a gentle soul who loves to give cow kisses to visitors, and we are so glad to call her family.

Carmen

Carmen had a rough start to her life. She was rescued as part of an animal abuse case where she was not being properly fed. But after rescue, she found herself on the blocks at a livestock auction. Luckily, a very kind lady stepped in and sent Carmen to be fostered. All Carmen wanted at the foster facility was to be friends with another cow, but the cow there wanted nothing to do with her. We knew that we could help this poor girl find the cow pal she so desperately wanted and brought her in to live the rest of her life in safety and companionship at the Ranch. Now she and Vegan are inseperable and as close as sisters - a happy ending for all of us!
